The Origins of Hope For Each

WHAT IS CANADIAN RESOURCES for MISSIONS FOUNDATION (CRMF) IN 2018?

1.  It is a charitable foundation created to assist in the realization of the visions and dreams of

two missionary couples who were working in Ukraine in 2009 - John and Ev Wiens with MB

Mission - Garry and Teresa Verhoog with the Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission

      (EFCCM).

2.  It has appointed Hope For Each in Ukraine, a Ukrainian charity, as its agent to carry out our

      shared vision.

3.  It has been formed in response to the great needs of "aged out orphans" in Ukraine -

society considers them to have little or no worth - the outcomes are shameful. The Lord

Jesus values each one! We would like them to know that!

4.  It has operated a residential Trade School in Nikolipola beginning in 2012-13 focused on a

     Dairy Management Course. Studies also

include: English, Math and Christian Ethics.

5.  It has acquired land and buildings of a former collective farm site, and renovated a barn

large enough to handle 200 milking cows, with a milking parlor. A new building with a milk

tank room, washrooms and a small classroom have been attached.

6.  It has three residences for students in Nikolipola which are operated with Christian house

parents. It also has a larger building which houses a classroom/activity room and some small

apartments for grad students who work at the farm. Most classes are held here.

7.  It also has received the blessing of various work teams from churches in Canada who have

contributed funds as well as sweat equity for a farm shop, a grain storage quonset, a small

building which is dedicated to the production of cheese and the extraction of honey, and will

renovate another house in anticipation of the arrival of another missionary couple from

Canada to assist Garry and Teresa as early as July 2018. It has vision to increase the dairy

heard to two hundred cows as a Not-for-Profit farm, whose earnings will be used to fund the

     Trade School.

8.  It is committed to accept only the number of students that can be supported by the farming

      operation.

9.  It has vision to include the addition of other study tracks - including Cheese Making, Honey

Production, and perhaps Baking/Cooking, Mechanical and Office Management.

10.  It has a huge need for assistance to make these dreams and visions a reality.

            a. We need people to champion the new study courses.

            b. Presently, we need funds to increase the acres of corn under drip irrigation.

            c. We need people to pray.

            d. We need more people to know about CRMF.

11.  CRMF is directed by a three person provisional board consisting of:

            - Lawrence Olfert, MD, Drumheller, AB

            - Calvin Warkentin, CA, Calgary, AB

            - Melvin Wiens, farmer, Beechy, SK

12.  The work in Ukraine is carried out under the supervision of Garry Verhoog and Victor

Dantsev, directors of Hope For Each.
